There will be an array of Social Activities at this year’s meeting. Below is a description of a few of them. See Meeting Schedule for Days and times for each.
This year’s welcome reception will be held at the historic Fort William Henry Museum, adjacent to the conference hotel, during the reception we will be offering Tours of the facility. One will discuss the history and daily life within the fort, and the other offers a look into the more ghostly aspect of the fort. Please make sure you check off which tour you are interested in when you register. [sponsored by CHA]
Tired on the same old traffic bowl every year? Well, you are in luck, this year we are revamping traffic bowl into a trivia contest that everyone can play and earn prizes. Similar to trivia nights you have seen at your local bar, people will group up in teams of 2 to 6 and will be asked a series of questions. Answers will be written down and the winners will each receive a $50 Amazon Gift Card. We are working diligently to hopefully get PDH credits for this event, which could help with your continuing education requirements, and best of all, there will be hor d’oeuvres and an open bar, so really, everyone wins!!! Mini Golf Event
As in past years, there will be a golf scramble tournament at a full size golf course, but for those who don’t play golf and still want a little competitive fun, we have added a mini-golf event this year as well. Located at Around the World Golf, just one block from the conference hotel, those who participate will play 18 holes of mini-golf, no equipment or skill required, just a lot of fun to be had by all. Prize for the best mini-golf score will be awarded. [sponsored by LKMA]
